AP govt takes action in Kadambari Jethwani case

Three senior IPS officers in Andhra Pradesh were suspended after actress Kadambari Jethwani accused them of harassment and unlawful arrest. Jethwani claimed the officers acted on behalf of a film producer and political leader from the YSR Congress party. She and her family were detained for over 40 days following allegations of forgery and extortion. An inquiry into the officers' actions led to their suspension.
